In its early days, LoudASF took root at Rockstar Studios in Los Angeles—a dynamic creative hub where notable musicians such as Matt Sharp (formerly of Weezer), Pat Smear (formerly of The Germs, Nirvana, and now with Foo Fighters), and Philthy Phil (formerly of Motörhead) once rehearsed. Immersed in this rich musical heritage, LoudASF established its core commitment: providing top-tier recording services that remove barriers for artists at every level.
When the COVID-19 pandemic upended traditional music production, Lost reimagined his approach by creating a mobile recording studio. Rather than waiting for artists to visit a fixed location, he took the studio to their living rooms, rehearsal spaces, and even outdoor venues. This innovative concept not only circumvented travel obstacles but also catered to each artist’s schedule and preferred creative environment. By doing so, LoudASF offered a professional-grade recording experience wherever inspiration struck.
Today, LoudASF continues to push the boundaries of studio accessibility while honoring its origins in Los Angeles’s storied musical landscape. By blending the latest technology with the personal touch of an on-site engineer, LoudASF embraces its guiding principle: The World Is Your Studio. Mario “LostFoo” Angel—better known as Lost—fell in love with music at age twelve, producing tracks on a basic Windows computer without even realizing it. Evolving to professional equipment, he honed his craft by recording both himself and other artists. A true multi-instrumentalist, Lost founded LoudASF, a mobile studio fusing engineering expertise with convenience, allowing him to bring creative visions to life anytime, anywhere.
